【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthebasicrequirementsforwater-basedzinc/aluminumdispersioninorganicbasecoatsandoptionalsealersandtopcoatsforfasteners.Thebasecoatcancontainchrome(C)orbenon-chrome(NC).1.2Thesecoatingsareappliedbyconventionaldip-spin,dip-drain,orspraymethodstoferrouspartswhichcanbehandledthroughacleaning,coating,andbakingoperation,andwhicharenotadverselyaffectedbybakingtemperaturesupto626176;F.1.3Thecoatingprocessdoesnotinducethepossibilityofinternalhydrogenembrittlementprovidingthatthefastenershavenotbeencleanedorpre-treatedwithanacidorphosphate.Alkalinecleaningorvapordegreasingisrequiredalongwithshotblastingtoremoverustorscale.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
